The Tidal Acceleration TA(m/s2) in meter per second square is equal to the Total Tidal Force TF(N) in Newton and is Divided by the Mass of the Body of Water mW(kg) in kilogram.

The Equation of Tidal Acceleration can be written as,

TA(m/s2) = TF(N) / mW(kg)

Here,

TA(m/s2) = Tidal Acceleration in meter per second square

TF(N) = Total Tidal Force in Newton

mW(kg) = Mass of the Body of Water in kilogram

Tidal Acceleration Calculation :

1)Calculate the Tidal Acceleration and given for Total Tidal Force = 450N , Mass of the Body of Water = 20kg.

Answer

TA = TF / mW

TA = 450 / 20

TA = 22.5m/s2.

2)Calculate the Mass of the Body of Water and given for Total Tidal Force = 450N , Tidal Acceleration = 22.5m/s2.

Answer

TA = TF / mW

22.5 = 450 / mW

mW = 20kg.
