Ceiling fan is available from 32 watts to 120 Watts depending upon the size and number of blades. The ceiling fan size is available from 400 mm to 1200 mm and the speed from 300 rpm to 2800 rpm. i.e Usha ENERGIA 32 fan consumes 32 Watts for the sweep size of 1200mm. This is the lowest power consumption ceiling fan.

Tips to Save Power Consumption:

  • Switch off the fan under cold condition
  • Use Electronics regulator instead of resistance regulator. By that way, we can save 10% of the power
  • Use BLDC fan which is 50% efficient than old induction motor ceiling fan.
  • Replace the capacitor when the speed is lesser.
  • Buy copper coil winding instant of aluminium winding.
  • Look at the above table, the power consumption of the shorter wings is higher than the longer length. Hence always go for higher sweep size fan to save energy.
