Energy Release Calculator, Formula, Energy Release Calculation

Energy Release Calculator:

Enter the values of Mass m(kg), Specific Heat Capacity Cp(J/Kg*C) & Change in Temperature T(C) to determine the value of Energy Release Q(J).

Enter Mass: kg
Enter Specific Heat Capacity: J/Kg*C
Enter Change in Temperature: C

Result – Energy Release : J

Energy Release Formula:

The Energy Release Q(J) in Joules is Equal to the Mass m(kg) in kilogram and Multiply the Specific Heat Capacity Cp(J/Kg*C) in Joules per Kilogram Celsius and again Multiply the Change in Temperature T(C) in Celsius.

The Equation of Energy Release can be written as,

Q(J) = m(kg) * Cp(J/Kg*C) * T(C)

Here,

Q(J) = Energy Release in Joules

m(kg) = Mass in kilogram

Cp(J/Kg*C) = Specific Heat Capacity in Joules per Kilogram Celsius

T(C) = Change in Temperature in Celsius

Energy Release Calculation :

1)Calculate the Energy Release and given for Mass = 10kg , Specific Heat Capacity = 5J/Kg*C , Change in Temperature = 10C.

Answer

Q = m * Cp * T

Q = 10 * 5 * 10

Q = 500J.

2)Calculate the Change in Temperature and given for Mass = 10kg , Specific Heat Capacity = 5J/Kg*C , Energy Release = 500J.

Answer

Q = m * Cp * T

500 = 10 * 5 * T

T = 10C.
