Circular Velocity Formula:

The Circular Velocity Vc(rad/s) in radian per second is equal to the Tangential velocity Vt(m/s) in meter per second is divided by the Radius of circle R(m) in meter.

The Formula of Circular Velocity can be writtern as,

Vc(rad/s) = Vt(m/s) / R(m)

Here,

Vc(rad/s) = Circular Velocity in radian per second

Vt(m/s) =  Tangential velocity in meter per second

R(m) = Radius of circle in meter

Calculation for Circular Velocity:

1)Calculate the Circular Velocity and given for Tangential velocity = 45m/s , Radius of circle = 15m.

Solution

Vc = Vt / R

Vc = 45 / 15

Vc = 3rad/s.

2)Calculate the Radius of circle and given for Tangential velocity = 45m/s , Circular Velocity = 3rad/s.
