Rajasthan electricity rate per unit 2024-25:
Rajasthan electricity board RSEB has three sets of electricity tariff module based on the consumer’s consumption. The categories are BPL, Astha Card Holder who consumes less than 50 units per month, the second one is the small domestic the overall consumption should be less than 50 units, and the third one is a general domestic category for consumer’s consumption is more than 50 units.
Note that, the BPL and Astha category consumer should have Approved Card which is issued by the electricity board. The non-card holder will come into small domestic tariff range. It is available for the residential-only not to any industrial service.

BPL & Astha Consumers per unit charge:
BPL consumers shall pay ₹ 4.75/- per unit for the first 50 units along with the ₹ 150/- of fixed charges, also if the BPL consumer consumes more than 50 units means, they shall be charged in the general domestic tariff.
General Domestic per unit charge:
The consumer’s consumption is more than 50 units per month means, they shall pay their electricity bill with the following rates for single phase and three phase.
- For 0 to 50 the per-unit cost will be ₹ 4.75/- with a fixed cost of ₹ 150/ connection per month.
- For 50 to 150 units the unit cost will be ₹ 6.5/- with the fixed cost of ₹ 250/- per connection per month.
- For 150 to 300 units, the per-unit cost will be ₹ 7.35/- and the fixed cost is ₹ 300/- per month
- For 300 units to 500 units, the unit cost will be ₹ 7.65/- with the fixed cost of ₹ 400 per month
- For above 500 units, the unit cost will be ₹ 7.95/- with the fixed cost of ₹ 450 per month.
Additionally, the consumer shall pay electricity duty charges 0.40 Per unit.
HT Domestic:
If your demand is more than 50kVA means, the consumer requested to get HT.

Rajasthan Electricity Bill Calculation:
Example:
Let we calculate the electricity bill for 540 units with the Rajasthan electricity tariff order 2023-24?
Look at the calculation, totally you have to pay ₹ 4671 as electricity bill. In that, you shall pay ₹ 237.5/- (50 x 4.75) for the first 50 units, ₹ 650 (100 x 6.5) for the next 100 units, ₹ 1102.5 (150 x 6.5) is charged for next 150 units (150 to 300), ₹ 1530/- (200 x 7.65) for the next 200 units, ₹ 477 for the remaining 60 units.
Along with that additionally fixed charges ₹ 450 per service per month shall be charged and electricity duty ₹ 224 /- (560 x 0.4).
By calculating all the value, you get ₹ 4671 as electricity bill for 560 units as per Rajasthan electricity tariff order.
