Voltage Divider calculator is the output voltage measured V_{out(v)} in volts is equal to the source voltage V_{s(v)} in volts and multiply the resistance of the 2^{nd} resistor R_{2(oh)} in ohms and divided by the resistance of the 1^{st} resistor measured R_{1(oh)} in ohms and addition the resistance of the 2^{nd} resistor measured R_{2(oh)} in ohms.Hence the voltage Divider calculator formula can be written as

V_{out(v)} = V_{s(v)} * R_{2(oh)} / (R_{1(oh)} +R_{2(oh)})

V_{s} = is the source voltage measured in volts in v

Sources voltage =25v

Resistance 1^{st} resistant =45 Ω

Resistance 2^{nd} resistant =24 Ω

By using formula

V_{out(v)} = V_{s(v)} * R_{2(oh)} / (R_{1(oh)} +R_{2(oh)})

V_{out = }25 *24 / (45+24)

V_{out} =600 /69

V_{out} =8.6956 v

Calculate the sources voltage 18v and the resistance 1^{st} resistor 78Ω, and the resustance 2^{nd} resistor 96 Ω.Find the output voltage ?

Sources voltage = 18v

Resistance 1^{st} resistant = 78Ω

Resistance 2^{nd} resistant = 96Ω

By using formula

V_{out(v)} = V_{s(v)} * R_{2(oh)} / (R_{1(oh)} +R_{2(oh)})

V_{out }= 18 *96 / (78+96)

V_{out} =1728 /174

V_{out} =9.93103 v
